1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and Bold Slate LLC, owner and operator of LLM Sleuth (“Bold Slate,” “LLM Sleuth,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). They govern your access to llmsleuth.com, the LLM Sleuth application, API, support, exports, subscriptions, and related services.
By creating an account, purchasing a plan, accessing the API, or otherwise using LLM Sleuth, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
LLM Sleuth lets users submit a query to supported AI models, compare generated searches and answers, inspect cited sources and extracted page evidence, save executions, and export results. Features may include an API, PDF and Markdown exports, search history, source extraction, billing tools, and related functionality.
Models, providers, prices, features, limits, credit costs, and availability may change. We may add, modify, suspend, or remove functionality and do not guarantee continued access to a particular model, provider, source, integration, or feature.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering an agreement to use LLM Sleuth. You agree to provide accurate information, maintain the security of your login and API key, and promptly notify support of suspected unauthorized use.
You are responsible for activity under your account and for people you authorize to use it. You may not share an account or API key in a way that evades plan limits, security controls, or intended seat restrictions.
4. Plans, billing, credits, and refunds
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually at the price shown at checkout, plus applicable taxes. Subscriptions automatically renew for the selected billing period unless canceled before renewal. You authorize Stripe and LLM Sleuth to charge the applicable payment method for recurring fees.
A credit represents usage of an eligible model run. Standard and premium models may require different numbers of credits, as displayed in the product. Credits may be deducted when a run is submitted. Provider errors, timeouts, missing citations, unavailable pages, or unsatisfactory output do not automatically restore credits, although support may make a discretionary adjustment.
Free accounts receive the one-time credit amount displayed at signup. Paid credit allowances reset monthly and do not roll over. Annual plans are paid for the full year but receive their included credits in monthly allotments; unused credits do not accumulate into later months. Canceling does not convert unused credits into cash or extend their expiration.
Except where required by law, purchases are final and non-refundable. Failure to use the service, unused credits, accidental renewal, dissatisfaction with AI output, provider failure, changed business needs, or cancellation after a charge does not create a right to a refund.
Support may choose to provide a refund, credit, extension, or other accommodation in its sole discretion. Any voluntary exception applies only to that situation, does not amend this refund policy, does not waive these Terms, and does not require us to provide the same result again or to another user.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use LLM Sleuth to violate law or third-party rights; distribute malware or spam; impersonate others; facilitate fraud, harassment, or abuse; access accounts or systems without authorization; bypass rate limits, credits, or security controls; overload or disrupt the service; or use automated methods except through authorized product features and API access.
You may not reverse engineer, copy, clone, scrape, resell, sublicense, or exploit non-public software, prompts, workflows, systems, or service infrastructure except where applicable law prohibits the restriction or we expressly permit the activity in writing.
6. Your content and submitted information
You retain your rights in questions, prompts, instructions, and other content you submit. You grant Bold Slate a limited, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, process, format, and display that content only as reasonably needed to provide, secure, support, and operate LLM Sleuth.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and lawful basis to submit content, including information about clients, competitors, employees, customers, or other third parties. Do not submit passwords, payment card data, government identifiers, protected health information, children’s data, trade secrets, or other highly sensitive or regulated information.
7. AI results, sources, and professional review
AI-generated searches, answers, citations, summaries, extracted evidence, headings, FAQ data, and other results may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misleading, duplicative, unavailable, or inconsistent between runs. A cited URL does not mean the provider read every part of the page or endorsed its content.
You are responsible for reviewing results before relying on, publishing, presenting, or using them. LLM Sleuth does not guarantee search rankings, AI citations, visibility, traffic, revenue, conversions, source availability, model behavior, or any specific commercial outcome.
LLM Sleuth does not provide legal, medical, financial, tax, security, compliance, or other professional advice. Consult an appropriate professional when a decision requires professional judgment.
8. API and exports
You may use the API and exported PDF or Markdown reports for your internal work and legitimate client work, subject to your plan and these Terms. You are responsible for protecting API keys and for the accuracy, legality, confidentiality, and presentation of exported results.
We may apply rate limits, credit requirements, technical restrictions, or usage limits. We may revoke or rotate API credentials when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, nonpayment, or enforcement.
9. Third-party services
LLM Sleuth relies on third-party services for AI processing, web search, source retrieval, payments, authentication, databases, hosting, analytics, and support. These services may be governed by their own terms, privacy policies, limits, model behavior, and availability.
We are not responsible for third-party outages, policy changes, model changes, source removals, API changes, inaccurate output, security incidents, pricing changes, or other acts or omissions outside our reasonable control.
10. LLM Sleuth intellectual property
Bold Slate and its licensors own LLM Sleuth, including its software, design, branding, workflows, documentation, interfaces, and other service materials. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
Feedback may be used without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you as its source without permission.
11. Suspension, cancellation, and termination
You may stop using LLM Sleuth or cancel a paid subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewal according to the billing flow but does not refund past charges.
We may limit, suspend, or terminate access when you violate these Terms, fail to pay, create security or legal risk, abuse providers or infrastructure, or use the service in a way that could harm LLM Sleuth, users, vendors, or third parties. Following termination, access to saved history, API credentials, exports, and account tools may be limited or removed.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LLM Sleuth is provided “as is” and “as available.” Bold Slate disclaims all express and implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, reliability, and security.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, permanent retention, successful source extraction, provider response times, complete citations, or that outputs will satisfy your requirements.
13. Limitation of liability and indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bold Slate and its owners, affiliates, contractors, officers, employees, agents, and vendors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, business, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising from or related to LLM Sleuth.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bold Slate’s total liability for claims arising from or related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to Bold Slate for LLM Sleuth during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold Bold Slate and its affiliates, owners, contractors, officers, employees, and agents harmless from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the service, your submitted content, your client relationships, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by applicable laws of the United States and, where applicable, the laws of the state in which Bold Slate LLC is legally organized or principally operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us through support chat and make a good-faith attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
15. Changes and general terms
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and changing the “Last updated” date. Where required, we may provide additional notice. Continued use after revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a restructuring, financing, merger, acquisition, or sale. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement regarding the service unless a separate written agreement applies.
Questions about these Terms may be submitted to Bold Slate LLC through the support chat available on llmsleuth.com.
